John Crampton Walker
Born in Dublin, John Crampton Walker, a landscape and flower painter and pen-and-ink artist, studied at Dublin Metropolitan School of Art. He exhibited with the Fine Art Society and the RHA from 1914 and was elected an Associate in 1931. He was author of Irish Life and Landscape, (Talbot Press, Dublin, 1926). His work is in most of the major public collections in Ireland including the National Gallery and the Hugh Lane Municipal Gallery of Modern Art.
