Thomas Kinsella's translation of the prose epic Táin Bó Cuailnge, "the longest and most important of the Ulster cycle of heroic tales", with illustrations - or "brush drawings" - by le Brocquy. This was a seminal work for le Brocquy resulting in a series of tapestries and prints on the same theme. Tall octavo in decorated black cloth, dust-jacket and slipcase with papered boards.
