  • Flow Study is a maquette for a larger bronze, Flow, (15 by 22 by 11”), edition of 5. This larger work can be found in various locations internationally including a private medical clinic in New York. Edition no. 1 of this edition of 9 study was exhibited at, ‘Recent Sculpture by Linda Brunker’, Solomon Gallery, Dublin, 4 to 27 November, 1996. Aidan Dunne commented on Brunker’s work from this period saying, “…In Linda Brunker’s elegant sculptures, masses of natural forms, from leaves to starfish, bear the imprint of human, usually female, heads and bodies. They are emblematic of the structural patterns that connect not just living things but all forms on all scales, from microscopic to cosmic.   • Cynthia Moran Killeavy was born in Co. Kildare, a sister of the late Frances Bunch Moran, painter (1928-2002). She attended evening classes at the National College of Art, Dublin and later studied sculpture at St. Martin’s College of Art, London. Since 1964 she has been based in Madrid, exhibiting regularly in group shows both in Spain and Ireland.

  • The Conductor Series emerged in the artist’s oeuvre in the 1980s and is an exploration which continues to inspire the artist today. A large-scale interpretation of this theme, The Conductor is appropriately in the collection of the National Concert Hall, Dublin. Similarly, a scaled-up version of Pastorale can be found in the Sandy Lane Hotel, Barbados. Sloane currently exhibits in Italy, Britain and Ireland and is at present preparing a new body of work exploring the theme of the sea, for exhibition with the Kenny Gallery, Galway. This exhibition will be opened in conjunction with the Volvo Ocean Race.
