Colm Brady
Born in Dublin, Brady studied at NCAD completing a BA in Fine Art from in 1997 and a MA in Fine Art in 2000. He has been honoured with many prestigious awards including the 1997 CAP Foundation Art Award and 1999 Gold Medal for Academic Excellence, Dublin Institute of Technology, Mountjoy Square, Dublin. Brady's semi-abstract paintings draw inspiration from the human body and immediate contemporary landscape. They explore ideas relating to identity, minority and fractured/split territories. He is represented in public and private collections in Ireland, London and New York.
