Jacinta Feeney
Jacinta Feeney was born in Donegal in 1954. She studied art in London, attending the Royal College of Art and Goldsmiths College. She won various awards and prizes including a Prince of Wales Scholarship from the Royal College of Art in 1981, as well as an Irish Arts Council Award to travel to Spain in 1984 and an Irish Arts Council Bursary in 1987. She took part in many group shows. In 1996, her works were included in Art of the State, Office of Public Works, touring all over Ireland and Belgium. She was also represented in the 172nd Royal Hibernian Academy Annual Exhibition in 2002 as well as in the Pyms Gallery, London. (whytes.ie)
