€1,200,000 OF IRISH ART SELLS AT AUCTION
Whyte’s Important Irish Art sale on 25 May demonstrated a
continuing strong demand for art of quality. The top hammer price of €230,000
(€286, 580 including Buyers Premium plus VAT) was for Paul Henry RHA
(1876-1958) DAPPING ON LOUGH MASK, COUNTY MAYO, 1928-36, with a presale
estimate of €150,000 to €200,000.
