Whyte’s Irish & International Art sale on 9 March demonstrated a continuing strong demand for art of quality. The top hammer price of €245,000 (€305,270 including Buyers Premium plus VAT) was for Roderic O'Conor's LE LOING AT SUNDOWN, c.1902, with a presale estimate of €150,000 to €200,000.

Other notable results include:
-David Hockney RA (b.1937) POOL MADE WITH PAPER AND BLUE INK FOR BOOK, 1980 selling at €38,000 (Est. €25,000-€35,000)
-Sir John Lavery, artist's proof lithographs of MICHAEL COLLINS and ARTHUR GRIFFITH, 1921 realised €16,000 (Est. €8,000-€10,000)
-Liam O'Neill (b.1954) A PINT OF PLAIN sold for €10,500 (Est. €5,000-€7,000)
-Laurence Stephen Lowry signed lithograph THE CART, 1959 sold for €8,000 (Est. €4,000-€6,000)
-Stuart Morle's oil on canvas IN THE GARDENS OF ALHAMBRA, 2025 selling at €3,600
