Our 2 October auction of Irish & International Art saw some strong results for exceptional works, Rose Mary Barton RWS (1856-1929) NASSAU STREET, DUBLIN sold for €13,000 (estimate €6,000-€8,000), Tony O'Malley HRHA (1913-2003) SPRING ROOKS (illustrated above), 1986 fetched €34,000 (estimate €25,000-€35,000), Nano Reid (1900-1981) ROSSNAREE, COUNTY MEATH recorded a sale price of €10,500 (estimate €6,000-€8,000), while Rita Duffy PRUA (b.1959) MOTHER IRELAND, 1989 achieved a result of €8,000 (estimate €4,000-€6,000).
