About Us

WHYTE'S ARE IRELAND'S PREMIER SPECIALIST ART AUCTION HOUSE

In eight to ten carefully planned sales a year we offer an unrivalled range of Irish art. The entries in our sales are mainly from private collectors and estates, and many have not been seen in public for many years.

Whyte’s city centre offices and galleries are located in the last intact terrace of Georgian shopfronts in Dublin, near the famous landmarks of St. Stephen's Green, Trinity College, Leinster House and the fashionable shopping area of Grafton Street.

Whyte’s have an unequalled reputation for integrity and discretion acquired over more than two centuries of family business in Dublin. Coupled with our enthusiastic adoption of modern technology we can offer all the advantages and civility of a "bricks and mortar" auction house with the convenience of electronic communications.

All our sales are  broadcast live, both audio and video, on the internet where you can watch and listen to the auction, leave bids or bid while the auction is taking place, from anywhere in the world and from any device – click here for details.

Thank you for visiting. We welcome your comments and enquiries and look forward to being of service to you.
