WHYTE'S ARE IRELAND’S PREMIER SPECIALIST ART AND COLLECTIBLES AUCTION HOUSE

In four to six carefully planned sales a year we offer an unrivalled range of Irish art. A centuries old reputation for integrity and discretion attracts both discerning buyers and sellers to Whyte’s, to the ultimate benefit of both. Whyte’s art auctions are renowned for achieving record results from clients delighted to add superb pieces to their collections. Whyte’s experts provide informed advice and accurate appraisals for prospective sellers. On consignment, our cataloguers research and carefully describe each work to highlight its beauty and importance to the collector. Whyte’s superbly produced catalogues are highly regarded for the quality of the images, produced by Ireland’s leading art photographer, Gillian Buckley, and the academic research reflected in the detailed descriptions of each work of art. Whyte’s Important Irish Art auctions and Irish & International Art auctions are held at the Royal Dublin Society's Exhibition Centre in Ballsbridge. This superbly appointed venue comfortably accommodates the large attendance Whyte’s auctions attract and the ample and secure car parking is much appreciated by our buyers. All Whyte’s sales are broadcast live on the internet, with both audio and video, through Invaluable (UK and USA), AuctionZip (USA), Figaro (Europe) and The-Saleroom (UK) where collectors can watch and listen to the auction, leave absentee bids or bid while the auction is taking place, from anywhere in the world and on a myriad of devices including computers, mobile phones, tablets and televisions. Coupled with our enthusiastic adoption of modern technology Whyte’s offer all the advantages and civility of a "bricks and mortar" auction house with the convenience of electronic communications.
