Joseph Poole Addey
Joseph Poole Addey was painter, sketcher and art educator. He became the first Head Master of the Londonderry School of Art and later taught at the Dublin Metropolitan School of Art.
According to Theo Snoddy, Addey "could not comprehend how anyone would be unable to copy accurately, with pencil, a simple object".
