Patrick Caulfield
Patrick Caulfield was an English painter and printmaker. He studied at Chelsea School of Art and later at the Royal College of Art. His work from the 70s consisted of bold canvases, which often incorporated elements of photorealism within a pared-down scene. Caulfield was nominated for the Turner prize in 1987 and was made a CBE in 1996. www.whytes.ie
