Phyllis Eason
Daughter of the Dublin bookseller, William Waugh Eason, Phyllis Eason studied at the National College of Art. During the 1940s she was closely associated with the White Stag Group, holding a solo show at their gallery on Merrion Row in 1946. www.whytes.ie Whilst she painted mostly Dublin street scenes, her interest in psychology led her to produce a series of colourful fantasies, all painted on greaseproof paper.
