Simeon Stafford
Stafford was born in Dukinfield, Manchester in 1956. At the of age of 14 he met L.S Lowry who encouraged him to paint. Lowry became a family friend and remains a constant source of inspiration to him. The artist relocated to Cornwall in 1996. Stafford’s subjects include docks and their workers, holiday seaside scenes and streets of children playing. His works have been acquired for private collections, according to the artist's gallery, including those of Queen Elizabeth II and Tony Blair.
