Tom Cullen
Tom Cullen was born in Donnybrook in 1934, joining the families butchery business despite having shown an aptitude for art. Only after that business had to shut down did Cullen become a painter full time. His first exhibited in Dublin with Robert Ballagh. He lectured at NCAD and taught art at Blackrock College. He became best known for his depictions of scenes of Dublin which were being lost to change. www.whytes.ie
